The acquisition of Ultimo, which makes SaaS based enterprise asset management applications, is expected to close during third quarter. The company, which has 120 employees, is described as having a customer base primarily in Europe with "some presence in the United States". The announcement says the Ultimo product line complements IFS Cloud EAM. Founded in 1988, Ultimo is said to have more than 2,000 customers.
