Accounting firm Baker Tilly entered the mid-market reselling business with it acquisition in June of Intacct VAR Acct2 Share Services, which had been Intacct’s Partner of the Year for several consecutive years. Baker Tilly took over that title in 2021. There seems to be movement in the partner enablement area at Sage, which has some of the longer serving employees after the rest of the company had a great deal of people replacement, and Sage Intacct. Chris Carter, who was director of partner enablement and a senior director for three years one month, become senior director of partner enablement and services North America this month, going from Intacct to the parent. Carter went the other way, moving to Intacct from Acct2 in March 2019. Also in the last month, director of Sage partner programs, Joo Sohn, said she was leaving the company after 28 years.
