The Toronto, Ont.-based company has hired Jana Schmidt to the newly created position. Payments has been the most rapidly growing part of Quisitive’s business with the development of its LedgerPay platform and last year’s purchase of BankCard USA for about $166 million  Schmidt was previously president and CEO of Harland Clarke for three years and before that she was with Ecova (now Engie Insight) for more than six years and was president and CEO for its last three years and one month.
