It’s the second sale in the last six months for the software company that once seemed only to buy businesses. While Infor acquired Lighthouse Systems, which makes manufacturing execution systems, in June, it sold it Enterprise Asset Management business so another Swedish organization, Hexagon for $2.75 billion last year. The library business is highly specialized with 180 customers in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Axiel offers cloud-based library services platform, Quria and has 3,000 customers in that market. The company says the system can managed all library resources, including physical collections, digital resources, library activities, events, e-media and communication channels.
