UNIT4 CLOUD SUBS UP 25 PERCENT Featured

Cloud subscriptions for the second quarter ended June 30 were up 25 percent over last year’s corresponding period, Unit4 said this week. The Netherlands-based software company did not provide any dollar amount for results.

It did report cloud bookings were up 59 percent year-over-year for the quarter and 40-percent for the first half. It also said it has 44 customers for its new ERPx line for the period. Eighty-eight total customer go-lives were reported for the most recently ended half. The most recent statement reporting revenue was a Unit4’s comment that for 2020, cloud subscription revenue was $119.9 million, up 15 percent over 2019. It did not report total revenue for 2020, but had said revenue for 2019 was $419.8 million. Unit4 was acquired by TA Associates for more than $2 billion in March and the company says the goal is to reach $10 billion in revenue so it has a ways to go. But the plan does include international growth and M&A.
