The case was brought by the Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs which alleged there was pay discrimination against female employees in the Product Development, Information Technology, and Support or against Asian and African American employees in the Product Development. The judge found no evidence of a policy or practice of discrimination and determined Oracle also did not use discriminatory policies in job assignment and job classification and that it did not steer different groups to different jobs at its headquarters.
