Galvanize markets risk management, audit, and compliance software. Galvanize was formed after ACL acquired Rsam and the companies rebranded as Galvanize. The hiring was announced by Galvanize CEO Laurie Schultz. She and Van Dooren worked together at Sage where Schultz was employed from October 2004 and July 2011. She was SVP and GM for Sage ERP North America while Van Dooren was VP of sales at Sage from July 2007 through September 2011.

Pascal Van Dooren has become chief revenue officer of Galvanize this week. Van Dooren had been with Avalara since October 2011, serving as chief revenue officer of the sales tax software company from June 2014.
