In its official announcement, Zap says Armstrong is overseeing direct sales and partner management for globally. With an American office in San Francisco, Zap integrates with Dynamics AX/NAV and CRM. One interesting fact is that Zap is exhibiting at the Acumatica Summit February 1 through 5 in Orlando, Fla., especially interesting since I don't see that any relationship has been announced. Zap lists some quite respectable channel members on its website including Crowe Horwath, Hitachi Solutions, mcaConnect, SBS Group, Tribridge, UXC Eclipse and Western Computer.
ZAP HIRES ARMSTRONG AS SALES VP Featured
In the continuing chain of Sage employment and alumni news, Donna Armstrong last month became Global VP Sales for Zap Business Intelligence. Armstrong, who had worked at Sage since 2010, was VP of sales for X3 North America for three years until leaving month. Interesting that when I clicked on the name "Zap" in Armstrong's LinkedIn profile, it brought up an ad for a senior sales position in the United States and says that person could work from a home office and that there were four applicants.
