Microsoft has enhanced the Dynamics Field Service mobile app in the 2022 release wave. Among these are date and time input fields will leverage default input controls provided by the device operating system.

In addition, Microsoft says mobile optimized device keyboards will be shown when interacting with numeric, phone, email and URL input fields. Moreover, devices such as tablets and PCs will have a streamlined agenda view available as part of booking calendars while customers’ primary account phone numbers will be accessible directly on the Bookable Resource Booking Customer tab. The Field Service App providers offline support so when the app is used offline, data is stored in the device database to be uploaded to the server later. It also offers an Outlook-style calendar for bookings and tailored user experiences available with Power Apps component framework.
