Infor has decided to “defocus” on several areas of software with point-of-sale the one area named this week. The comments were made by executives during this week’s webcast for earnings for the second quarter ended October 31.

Peloton, has drawn fire over its ad in which a husband gives his very trim wife one of its exercise bicycle. In a more realistic version, the wife shouts, “You think I’m fat!. You think I need to lose weight?”

Bill Ingram, chief financial officer of Avalara, has announced he will retire on March 31. Ingram will be succeeded by Ross Tennenbaum, the sales tax company’s EVP of strategic initiatives.
